24 Banane, Paolo Ciriello’s photography exhibition at Zaki’s offices

Our Livorno office turns into an art gallery to host “24 Banane“, an exhibition celebrating Italian cinema through the set photography of Paolo Ciriello. This special event is part of the programme of Effetto Venezia, Livorno’s renowned summer festival.

Paolo Ciriello, born in Livorno in 1971, began his photographic journey playing with his father’s Nikkormat and his grandfather’s Rolleiflex, a local photojournalist. In 2009, at the age of 38, he decided to turn his passion into a profession.

The opportunity came thanks to Paolo Virzì, who offered him the chance to photograph “La prima cosa bella“. From that moment on, his career took off: he has documented more than 40 films and TV series, working with leading directors and alternating set photography with commercial and advertising projects.

The exhibition “24 Banane” takes visitors on a journey through 24 of these photographs, captured by using the word “Banana” to grab the actors’ attention.

In addition to being a set photographer, Paolo works with our agency on corporate photo shoots. Thanks to Paolo’s talent, Zaki offers its business clients a unique vision for photographic storytelling, enabling emotional, artistic and distinctive storytelling.
