A basket for social impact: our support for the Palio del Basket and Mis Match

Recently, we had the opportunity to support two special projects: the “Palio del Basket” and “Mis Match 3vs3 Top Fiba“. These unique events, held in Livorno during the Notte Bianca dello Sport (from July 20 to 23), saw the city’s neighborhoods compete in 3×3 basketball tournaments. But they were far more than simple sporting competitions. The prize at stake was a charitable contribution for the regeneration of the winning neighborhood.

The event was organized by Famiglia Coraggio, an association founded in 2009 and made up of a group of volunteers committed to creating charity events through basketball. The association’s president, Arianna Paoletti, was the driving force behind the organization of the projects.

Now in its second edition, the Palio del Basket featured teams representing the various districts of the beautiful coastal city of Livorno. Meanwhile, Mis Match, held in Livorno for the first time, is part of the Estathè 3×3 Italia Streetbasket Circuit, organized by FIBA together with FIP, in collaboration with Master Group Sport.

From the very beginning, we recognized the project’s strong communication potential. We firmly believe in the power of sport as a driver of social change. The event’s proceeds were donated to initiatives aimed at improving quality of life in local neighborhoods, removing architectural barriers and enhancing urban spaces.
