A big thank you to Paolo Virzì for visiting Paolo Ciriello’s 24 Banane exhibition at Zaki’s offices

During the 2023 edition of Effetto Venezia, we had a wonderful surprise: Paolo Virzì stopped by our Zaki offices, drawn in by the exhibition “24 Banane“, a photographic project by set photographer Paolo Ciriello, who has worked with him on some of his films.

The well-known Italian director spent some time with us, even sitting outside our headquarters in an impromptu lounge.

From 2 to 6 August, our space in Livorno was transformed into a true art gallery. “24 Banane” is not just an exhibition, but a journey through Italian cinema, told through the lens of Paolo Ciriello.

With his unique talent, Paolo Ciriello made all of this possible. His passion, turned into a profession, has led him to document more than 40 films and TV series. And his collaboration with Zaki? A meeting of creative minds that brought a new way of using photographic storytelling to businesses.

Effetto Venezia 2023 was a truly magical event, and we at Zaki are proud to have been part of it—both as an agency supporting its promotion and as photography and cinema enthusiasts through the 24 Banane exhibition, which concluded with an auction led by Giorgio Algranti as auctioneer.

The 2023 edition of Livorno’s summer festival was a great success thanks to the vision of its artistic director Marco Bruciati and the direction of Fondazione Lem, which expertly coordinated our work and that of all the other contributors—journalists, photographers, video makers, and more—including Luca Bardi, Veronica Demelas, Francesco Luongo, Andrea Dani, Giacomo Niccolini, Michelangelo Sarti, Margherita Tramutoli and Paolo Nobili, who worked alongside our team to communicate the event at its best.
