A simple and intuitive UX for a new B2B e-commerce platform aimed at the professional sector. A solution developed on proprietary technology with consumer-driven logic.

For the historic Italian brand Bialetti, we developed an e-commerce platform dedicated to business clients, as visually appealing and functional as a consumer-facing online store. The project was carried out in collaboration with GiustiSoft, a software house specialized in developing solutions for sales forces. While GiustiSoft provided the multi-platform software tailored to the commercial and sales environment, Zaki delivered an engaging design and navigation experience, crafted with great attention to detail and fully aligned with Bialetti’s brand guidelines — typical of B2C platforms.

The result of this collaboration is a unique digital product: an e-commerce platform dedicated to business clients that can, when needed, easily evolve into a consumer-oriented e-commerce platform, as it was designed according to the same performance standards.

The client

From an early 20th-century workshop producing semi-finished aluminum goods to a publicly listed company — through the Moka Express, the tradition of Italian coffee, Carosello and the iconic Little Man with the Moustache. With a history spanning more than a century and a special place in the hearts and homes of entire generations of Italians, Bialetti is not simply a brand, but a true Made in Italy icon.

The challenge

A historic brand requires particular care and expertise in the development of any communication and sales tool, including those dedicated to B2B clients, which are usually focused more on commercial functionality than on brand experience. The challenge therefore lay in creating software dedicated to Bialetti retail clients, capable of welcoming and guiding users through a pleasant and intuitive user experience, fully aligned with the brand’s personality and identity.

Objectives:

  • Create a B2B e-commerce platform capable of combining commercial performance, brand experience and an excellent user experience.

The solutions

We worked in close collaboration with the client, who guided the team in ensuring full compliance with Bialetti’s brand guidelines, and with our partner GiustiSoft, which provided Nikè B2B, the infrastructure underpinning the e-commerce platform. Zaki contributed through the definition of the interface and user experience, as well as the front-end development of Bialetti’s e-commerce for its business clients.

In particular, the platform includes:

  • detailed product pages enriched with large images and additional multimedia content;
  • implementation of tools designed to facilitate the daily management of commercial activities;
  • features allowing users to save favorite items to a personal list.

Engaging design, operational quality and ease of navigation are constantly monitored and optimized, resulting in a platform aligned with the standards required by the Bialetti brand, while also being efficiently and consistently used by its business clients — who can place orders anytime, anywhere and from any mobile device.
