A rebranding and a new mobile-first digital environment tell the world of luxury yachts.

When it comes to digital solution development, we can’t leave out the work carried out for the Codecasa shipyard and its CodecasaDue division. Two luxury brands, a historic Versilia company, and the development of mobile-first platforms designed to guide audiences through a seamless, refined, engaging experience.

A short time earlier, we had tackled the corporate rebranding, addressing the need for refinement and understatement typical of the shipyard’s owning family and, more broadly, of the entire “true luxury” sector. The project included the design of a new mark and logo, the entire corporate image, and the production of corporate contents.

The client

With its production of luxury yachts dating back to 1825, Codecasa is an excellence of the Tuscan shipbuilding industry—a family-run shipyard recognized worldwide for the design, comfort, reliability, and innovation of its projects.

CodecasaDue, on the other hand, is the company division specialized in the design and construction of motor yachts up to 35 meters in length. The high quality and technical standards of its vessels have made Codecasa a partner of the Italian Coast Guard in the construction of Ognitempo SAR patrol boats for search and rescue operations at sea.

The challenge

Both Codecasa and CodecasaDue needed to regain an online environment that was not only aligned with their ultra-luxury positioning but also capable of delivering a satisfying and engaging digital experience to their audiences.

Access that increasingly takes place via mobile rather than desktop. We were therefore asked to redesign and optimize the websites of Codecasa and CodecasaDue so that they would be perfectly usable on smartphones as well.

Goals

  • Enhance the online brand perception of Codecasa and CodecasaDue, while ensuring a satisfying user experience for their target buyer personas.

The solutions

The new digital environments, built around responsive design, were conceived with a minimalist yet extremely refined look, capable of conveying the brand’s ultra-luxury, fully custom approach. With visuals taking precedence over text.

An emotional UX built on images and video, and a smooth, intuitive digital experience, enabling users to navigate effortlessly across the entire Codecasa universe.
